Pultrusion Technology and Training
Pultrusion technology is possibly the biggest obstacle in starting a pultrusion facility. The cost to purchase from the usual industry sources is quite high. Attempting to learn this somewhat of an art composite process by trial and error is costly in time, scrapped raw materials, and lost production profits.
We believe that there is a better way for you to accomplish this.
When you purchase at least one complete pultrusion line from us, we provide the technology package and startup training at no additional cost, no licensing fees, and no long term royalties.
Pultrusion Technology Overview
Abersham will supply to you the know how and expertise required to pultrude the desired components within your facilities. This will include all technical areas of the pultrusion process, from pultrusion equipment requirements, raw material selection, supply and storage, resin mixing, mat cutting equipment and procedures, MACT compliance, die manufacturing details, production setups, pultrusion processing, etc…
All pultrusion technology supplied will be for the exclusive use of each client and may not be transferred to other parties.
Training
We will train your personnel at your manufacturing site during the pultrusion startup for a period of 1 week. We can only commence training upon verification that all necessary process equipment, support equipment, and raw materials are in place and operational. A minimum of (2) Abersham personnel will perform the training during this period. In the event that there is a production problem caused by our provided setup design which requires modifications not capable during the initial training period, we will return at our expense until successful production is obtained.
Training will include raw material storage and handling, resin mixing, mat slitting, production setup, the pultrusion process, troubleshooting, cutoff, startup and shutdown, die and setup maintenance, and quality control procedures.
Client is responsible for actual travel costs, lodging, and meals during startup training.
Ongoing Support
We will be available by phone, fax, and e-mail to assist you remotely for a period of one year from the date of the successful production startup without charge. This may include trouble shooting production problems, improvement recommendations, raw material changes, etc…
Future On Site Support
If needed, we are available for additional on site technical support in the event that production problems or modifications cannot be accomplished remotely. On site support charged on a daily rate plus acutal expenses.
